My
name is Seppo O. Valjakka
and I'm the person behind Frankinstein Guitar Works. I have been playing
guitar for over forty-three years, which makes me rather long of tooth having
built and hot rodded guitars for most of the electric guitar's life. The Philosophy Behind Frankinstein Guitar Works Keep it simple... sounds easy enough, there's a lot of things that work well together and make sense. On the other hand there's an equal amount of hype and confusion about pickups, tone woods, neck contours, blah, blah, blah. I'll help you cut through to the real deal... what will work for YOU! Either to fine tune (pardon the pun) your existing guitar or to build a one-of a-kind that will add to YOUR pleasure of playing. Sources I painstakingly seek out hardware that works well at prices that won't break the bank. Frankinstein uses only nitrocellulose or acrylic lacquers, tung oil, and hand rubbed finishes for guitars. The factories' thick, two part catalized finishes are quick and easy for them; however, these are brittle which means every chip is cavernous, also the thick finish masks and colours the natural tone of the wood. Beware of bogus photo techniques (decals) to represent quilts, flames, and sunbursts that are buried under a thick layer of clear. Frankinstein guitars are the real deal; real solid woods, no phoney decals here! Shipping I use Expedited Post, traceable, and fully insured.....about 12 business days to the US. Frankinstein guitars have a 48 hour trial period, after which the guitar may be returned for a full refund (this does NOT apply to guitars sold on Ebay!). ( Return shipping at buyer's expense and following examination of guitar by the builder). You can contact me at: seppo@frankinsteinguitarworks.com |
